Crypto Abundance Map ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information We Collect

When you create an account or use our platform, we may collect:

• Account information — your email address, and a securely hashed password, used for account creation, sign-in, and essential service messages. Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase.
• Portfolio data — the coins, holdings, and price predictions you enter. When you are signed in, this is stored in our Supabase database so it syncs across your devices; when you are not signed in, it is kept only in your own browser. This data belongs to you.
• Payment information — when you upgrade to Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; Stripe handles them directly under its own security standards.
• Technical & log data — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. This is collected automatically in standard server logs by our hosting provider, Vercel, and used for security, performance, and reliability.
• Usage analytics — if you accept optional cookies, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand aggregate usage, such as visitor numbers, which pages are viewed, and where visitors arrive from. This does not track you across other websites, does not build an advertising profile of you, and runs only with your consent. We do not run advertising or cross-site behavioural-tracking analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create and manage your account, save and sync your portfolio data, process Pro-tier payments, send essential account and service emails (such as sign-in, password reset, and purchase confirmations), respond to support enquiries, and keep the platform secure and reliable. With your consent, we also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. We do not use advertising analytics or cross-site behavioural tracking, and we will not use your information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the platform. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database and authentication; stores your account and portfolio data. (Privacy)
• Stripe — secure payment processing for Pro purchases. (Privacy)
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery, including standard server logs, plus privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that runs only with your consent. (Privacy)
• Google Fonts and content delivery networks (Cloudflare, jsDelivr) — used to load fonts and scripts; these may receive your IP address as part of delivering those files. (Google)
• CoinGecko — live cryptocurrency price data, used to auto-fill current prices when you add a coin. (Privacy)
• Frankfurter — daily currency exchange rates (European Central Bank data) so amounts can be shown in your chosen currency. (About)

We share only the minimum data necessary for these services to function, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — while we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Children's Privacy

Our platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
